Over the years I've also started collecting some
weird and wonderful retro instruments, not the usual vintage
basses you might find in other collections - but some of
the more exotic examples of bass design that have been
produced over this instrument's relatively short history

Because of the variety of music I play with Jools Holland I need to use a combination of instruments including my Dingwall six string Prima Artist, Musicman and Fender basses, as well as my Volante foldable electric upright bass
